If you have any doubt about my status as a newbie runner, the lack of length to this page (currently) will clear those doubts right up! So far, I have been lucky enough to participate in four races, for AMAZING causes! My first race was a 10k, for brain injury awareness, and my second an 8k to end women's cancer! I also very recently ran the SOME Thanksgiving Turkey Trot (5k) and the DC Hot Chocolate 15K. Up next, I will race my first half marathon in March!! There will definitely be races in between as well. I am excited to have times for a 5,8,10 and 15k before the end of 2011, and I can't wait to see the PRs roll in for 2012.
